Did You Know This About Dogs And Watching Television?

Dogs nowadays have never had it so good when it comes to watching TV.

The new modern high definition televisions, that many of us enjoy, allow dogs to see the images on the screen pretty much as clearly as we do. The old CRT TVs (Cathode ray tube) delivered a blurry image to our canine friends because they displayed at 60 fps (frames per second). Us humans can see at around 55 fps but dogs can only discern flickers on the screen at around 75 fps.

Remember that clip in "101 Dalmations" when all the pups were gathered around cheering on the action on the old TV?...or maybe it was just a cartoon :-)
